Meet Your Guide
Â
Hi, I’m Pamela. I’m here to help you build the knowledge and skills to create your own adventures with confidence.
I know how overwhelming backpacking can feel when you’re trying to figure everything out on your own. Gear, safety, navigation, wildlife, hygiene—and all the opinions about what could go wrong—can leave you questioning whether you’re really ready. I’ve heard those concerns too, and I understand why they can make taking that first step feel so difficult.
I’m an outdoor educator, guide, author, and lifelong adventurer with more than 35 years of experience helping people build outdoor skills. I’ve spent decades learning, teaching, guiding, navigating, backpacking, and problem-solving in the outdoors—and I bring that experience to AdventurHER so you don’t have to figure everything out the hard way.
My job isn’t to take the adventure for you. It’s to give you the knowledge, skills, and tools to create your own.
I believe knowledge creates freedom. When you understand not only what to do but why you’re doing it, you can make informed decisions, problem-solve when things don’t go according to plan, and begin trusting your own judgment. I’m here to teach you, support you, and cheer you on as you become the backpacker you want to be.
